Wayne College staff: Guidelines for Cataloging Using Connexion Guidelines
Procedures
- Material for Wayne is cataloged the same as for Bierce.
- If the record is new to the UA Libraries Catalog, brief records are overlayed as usual.
- If the item already exists in the UA Libraries Catalog, the location is changed to "multi" and wayne is added as a location.
- The 049 (See table below) has the correct Wayne code added (separated by a)
- Generally, the same call number is used if it is LC. If a new call number is created (for example, if the Bierce record has assigned a textual call number), the new LC call number is inserted into the item record (create a partial item record without a barcode and make note of it on the printout, so that the staff at Wayne know).
